Help address climate change and hunger while learning new job skills!
With funding from the #CaliforniansForAll Youth Jobs Corps, the Long Beach Youth Climate Corps will offer up to 450 hours of paid work experience and training for youth between the ages of 16 to 30 years old that are interested in working on projects that address climate action and food insecurity.
Over the next two years, 380 youth will serve with public agencies, nonprofits, and schools to engage communities and build awareness. Participants will have an opportunity to earn up to $20/hr.
We will host interest sessions throughout the year.
