The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014 (“WIOA”) mandates local and regional workforce planning as does the State of California. Attached are the documents comprising the draft Local Plan for the Pacific Gateway Workforce Development Area (LWDA), encompassing the cities of Long Beach and Signal Hill, as well as the Regional Plan for workforce areas serving the Los Angeles County Area.
